Bucket 1 (Water Only): Fill with plain water and insert a grit guard. Place your paint wash mitts into this bucket.
Bucket 2 (Soap + Water): Add 5–8 ounces of car soap and fill with water. Leave your wash mitt in the water bucket until needed.
Bucket 3 (Glass Mitt Bucket): Add 5–8 ounces of car soap and fill with water. Place your glass wash mitt into this bucket (no grit guard needed).
Foam Cannon: Mix your foam cannon with a 1:8 ratio of soap to water. Prepare it but do not attach it to the power washer yet.
Rinse the entire car using the power washer.
Top to Bottom: Always rinse from the roof downwards.
Don’t forget to rinse the rims thoroughly as well.
Attach the foam cannon to the power washer.
Completely coat the vehicle with foam, including wheels and trim.
Using the glass wash mitt stick, clean all windows only.
Important: Never cross-contaminate — keep the glass wash mitt away from painted surfaces.
Remove your wash mitt from the water bucket, dip it into the soap bucket.
Wash one panel at a time using side-to-side motions (never circular, to avoid scratches).
After each panel:
Rinse mitt in the plain water bucket to remove dirt.
Re-dip into soap bucket to re-lubricate.
After the entire vehicle is hand-washed, rinse off all soap thoroughly using the power washer.
Use a squeegee only on glass surfaces to remove most water.
Do not use the squeegee on paint — it can cause micro-marring.
Use clean, high-quality drying towels to gently dry the rest of the car.
Work top to bottom to minimize dirt transfer.
(Complete the interior detail section first, then return here for finishing touches.)
Spray Invisible Glass cleaner onto waffle weave towels.
Clean the exterior windows using the method described in the Interior Detailing section.
Lightly mist quick detailer or waterless wash onto each panel.
Use two towels:
One towel to gently spread and wipe the product.
One towel to buff dry and remove any streaks.
✅ Remember: A little goes a long way for this product — avoid oversaturating.
Spray tire shine onto the brush, not directly onto the tires.
Brush tires in counterclockwise motions to evenly coat.
Using a black microfiber towel:
Wipe any brake dust from the rim covers.
Rub any excess tire shine into the rims to create a rich, clean finish without over-greasing.
✅ You have now completed a professional-grade Tesla Exterior Detailing!

Everything in the Exterior Wash Guide drop down menu above
Begin by performing a full exterior wash exactly as outlined in our Tesla Exterior Wash Guide above this drop down menu.
This includes rinsing, foaming, mitt washing (side-to-side only), drying glass with a squeegee, towel drying the body, and performing a preliminary exterior cleaning.
✅ At this point, your Cybertruck should be clean and ready for the next stage.
It is strongly recommended to have a second person assist you during this phase to prevent potential staining or etching.
Apply a liberal amount of Bar Keepers Friend directly onto a Cybertruck-specific cleaning sponge.
Working panel by panel, rub the surface strongly using firm, consistent left-to-right motions.
✅ Do not use circular motions — always rub horizontally to maintain the uniform grain of the Cybertruck’s stainless steel finish.
As you scrub each panel, your helper must immediately follow behind you and rinse the panel thoroughly with the power washer.
Important:
Do not allow Bar Keepers Friend to sit on the stainless steel surface — the acidic nature of the cleaner can etch or stain the metal if not rinsed off quickly.
✅ Work as a team: one person scrubs, the other rinses instantly.
Once all panels have been treated and rinsed:
Perform a quick exterior wash again (similar to a regular hand wash).
Focus on ensuring all chemical residues are removed.
You do not need to do a full intensive foam and mitt scrub at this stage — a quick soap wash and final rinse is sufficient.
✅ This final wash neutralizes any remaining cleaner on the Cybertruck’s surface.
Dry the Cybertruck thoroughly using clean drying towels.
Avoid letting water sit to prevent any spotting or minor staining on the stainless steel.
✅ You have successfully detailed and polished your Tesla Cybertruck’s exterior with safe, professional methods.
Keeping your Tesla’s interior clean enhances comfort, preserves material quality, and protects your investment over time.
Follow this detailed step-by-step guide to professionally clean every part of your Tesla’s cabin.
If you are performing an exterior wash first,
✅ Complete steps 1–8 of the Exterior Wash Guide before starting your interior detail.
✅ This ensures the exterior is fully dried and prevents cross-contamination inside the cabin.
✅ Open all doors to allow easy access and ventilation.
✅ Dry the door jambs thoroughly if you did not already do so after the exterior wash.
✅ Spray interior cleaner lightly onto your microfiber cloth (do not oversaturate).
✅ Start with the driver’s door:
Wipe all interior door panels, handles, armrests, and storage compartments.
Clean the plastic trim near the door base (between carpet and door).
✅ Repeat this door-by-door, moving clockwise around the vehicle.
✅ Next, move to the dashboard and center console:
Clean all hard surfaces like the dashboard, cupholders, gear selectors, and storage compartments.
Wipe all nooks, crannies, and edges where dust collects.
✅ Use a fresh rag when moving from door surfaces to interior components to avoid dirt smearing.
✅ Use a brand new, clean glass waffle cloth with no chemicals applied.
✅ Lightly dampen the cloth with a small drop of water (do not soak it).
✅ Clean the screen gently using side-to-side motions.
✅ Immediately dry the screen with a second fresh dry cloth to prevent streaks.
✅ Wipe down:
Steering wheel
Seats
Armrests
✅ Use an interior cloth with a small amount of interior spray.
✅ Be gentle to preserve the leather’s finish.
✅ Use carpet and upholstery cleaner with the built-in brush.
✅ Target any stained areas of the seats, carpets, or headliner.
✅ Lightly scrub with the brush and then dry with a clean cloth.
✅ Start with the windshield:
Work half from the driver's seat, and half from the passenger seat.
Spray a lot of Invisible Glass Cleaner onto a waffle glass cloth (your “wet rag”).
Wipe left-to-right across the windshield.
Immediately follow with a dry waffle cloth using the same motion to prevent streaks.
✅ Repeat this technique for:
The interior side of the glass roof (if equipped)
The interior door windows
✅ Important: Use separate cloths for wet and dry to ensure streak-free results.
✅ For carpet mats:
Remove all mats from the vehicle.
Shake them out to remove loose dirt.
Vacuum the mats thoroughly.
Spray carpet cleaner liberally (allow the carpet to become semi-wet).
Scrub with the built-in brush.
Vacuum again to remove loosened dirt and cleaner residue.
Allow mats to air dry for several minutes.
✅ For rubber mats:
Take mats to the wash bay.
Foam them heavily with car soap via foam cannon.
Allow to dwell for a few minutes.
Pressure rinse thoroughly.
Allow them to dry completely before reinstalling.
✅ While mats are drying, vacuum the interior cabin thoroughly:
Floors
Under seats
Trunk space
✅ After vacuuming:
Lightly mist the built-in carpets with Arm & Hammer Deodorizer Spray.
Once dry mats are ready, mist them as well before reinstalling.
✅ The baking soda formula helps neutralize existing odors and prevent future odors from forming.
✅ Trunk (Rear Storage):
Remove all items.
Wipe down all plastic surfaces with interior spray and cloth.
Vacuum trunk carpeting.
Spray carpet cleaner if needed and vacuum again.
✅ Frunk (Front Storage):
Vacuum thoroughly.
Wipe down any plastic surfaces with interior spray and a clean cloth.
✅ Your Tesla’s interior is now cleaned professionally,
✅ protected against stains and odors,
✅ and ready for fresh, enjoyable driving!
